Strawberry Jam

"Ball" brand RealFruit instant Pectin

5 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and mashed
2 cups granulated sugar
6 Tablespoons RealFruit instant Pectin

Mix all ingredients and stir for three minutes. Ladle into half-pint jars. Leave 1/2" space at top to allow for expansion when freezing.

Makes 6 of the 8 ounce jars. Keeps about 2 weeks in refrigerator or one year when frozen.
